30 Days for Turning 40

My poor little neglected yoga blog! Oh, my!

While the bad news is that, yes, I have been extremely lax in updating this blog (sorry, yogis!), there's some good news:

Good News #1: I'm about two chapters away from finishing my first instructional/inspirational book about how to start a yoga practice. Hooray! I've got a couple of proofreaders lined up, and someone who has agreed to help me take some photographs of myself demonstrating the asanas, and then it'll be formatted for purchase in the Kindle eBook store. How cool is that?

Good News #2: I taught a fantastic workshop  yesterday on how to make your own gemstone mala beads at True North Yoga (where I did my teacher training), and it was so much fun that I'll be repeating it a few times over the summer at different locations all around the Adirondacks. If you can't make it to the workshop, I'll have some complete kits for different gemstones available in my Etsy shop pretty soon!

Good News #3: I turn the big 4-0 on May 11 this year, and to celebrate my birthday month, I'm going to be kicking off a 30-day yoga challenge to myself! 40 minutes of yoga ('cause I'm turning 40), at home, every day, for 30 days. If anyone out there wants to play along, I'll be sharing 40-minute yoga practices that I find on YouTube, and for free on some of my favorite yoga websites. Who's in?
